’Capriccio’

release 14th nov 2025

"A capriccio is a piece of music, usually fairly free in form and of a lively character. The typical capriccio is one that is fast, intense, and often virtuosic in nature.

In my song „Capriccio“ this is reflected in fast piano arpeggios, airy textures, a very dynamic synth sequence and a rolling drum and bass fundament. It is a light and playful track that made a lot of fun playing at outdoor raves this past summer."

Schlindwein is a pianist, composer and music  producer from   Berlin.

His music has been used on multiple major TV    series  like   „Grey's Anatomy" or "How To Get Away With  Murder“ and   his   songs have been occupying some  of the biggest   editorial playlists on Spotify and   Apple  Music regularly. His   debut LP   ’Piano and   Electronic Ensemble Op.1’ reached   over 3 Million   streams and received much critical acclaim.

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of  Berlin,   Schlindwein skillfully infuses the pulsating  energy of the   city's vibrant electronic music scene  into his compositions.   By  juxtaposing traditional  piano  motifs with intricate layers   of  glitchy beats,  ethereal synths, and hypnotic bass lines, he   creates  a truly  unique combination of classical and  contemporary sonic elements.

’Three Lightyears Away’

release 22th may 2026

Schlindwein has been playing concerts beneath planetarium domes – and you can hear it.

’Three Lightyears Away’ sounds like a track born exactly there: somewhere high up between gravity and weightlessness. The electronic instrumental builds a pull that feels like slowly drifting out of the atmosphere – until the Berliner Kneipenchor sneaks in and everything becomes deeply human and grounded again.

This contrast is the heart of the song.

The fact that space is having a moment right now – new moon missions, space movies, a collective gaze upward – suits the release without the track depending on it.

This is not mood music for sci-fi fans, but a cinematic song with real weight and vision.

The choir brings a warmth that's rare in electronic production. Three lightyears away – close enough.
